Vendor Management Infrastructure
Curebase (and many other enterprise service companies) spend millions on third-party vendors every year. To streamline and optimize that spending, I was asked to spearhead the implementation of the vendor management process for the entire company. A truly cross-functional project that required significant cross-department communication.
This process is especially important in a regulated space where vendor selection and data sharing impacts patient privacy.
MAIN IMPACT:
Reduced the number of active vendors from 170 to 133 and implemented a "one-stop-shop" vendor request tool to streamline and organize requests.
HIGHLIGHTS:
Designed vendor approval process by gathering needs from 5 different executive stakeholders
Provided the sales team with a "go-to-market" vendor list (including resources for quick pricing with passthrough)
Selected and implemented process tool (ZipHQ) (all self-taught)
Created training material and hosted company-wide training sessions for the new process
Audited active vendor list and reduced exposure by eliminating under-used vendors
